Abstract
ABSTRACT
Research Objectives
The research goal is to determine the factors associated with employee motivation in Prof. Dr.. M.A Hanafiah. SM hospital Batusangkar in 2013.
Method
Design of cross-sectional study. Population all employees who served in hospitals Prof. Dr.. M.A Hanafiah. SM Batusangkar. The total sample of 74 people, taken in random sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires. Data were analyzed with Chi-square test.
Result
The results showed half of the respondents less motivated work (50%), developing the potential of individuals that do not exist (48.6%), less responsibility (39.2%), the relationship between individuals who are less (41.9%), and less supervision (47.3%). From the results of statistical tests find that there is a significant association between a given responsibilities and supervision of employee motivation (p value <0.05),. While the variables that are not related to employee motivation is the development of individual potential and interpersonal relationships.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that the given responsibilities and supervision related to employee motivation. Expected for. Prof. Dr.. M.A Hanafiah. SM hospital Batusangkar to improve employee motivation by giving real impetus to increase employability, helping employee career development, providing guidance in the work, conduct discussions to solve problems, increase morale, sanctions for those who make mistakes, comply with applicable rules in do the job, carrying out the work on time and was always committed to the tasks assigned.
