Abstract

ABSTRACT THEWORLD VIEWIN THEMURAKAMI RYU’S 69 SIXTY NINE NOVEL A GENETIC STRUCTURALISMREVIEW Oci Dwi Rahmayuli Keyword : literature, genetic structuralism, the word view, collective subject. 69 sixty nine is Japanese novel by Mukarami Ryu tells about life of Japanese society, especially their student. In the matters received the change that is affected by western cultural after World War I and American inhabiting. The purpose of this research is to identification humanity facts, the world view, and thr collective subject. This novel will be analyzed with genetics structuralism theory. The method that used in this research is dialectical method based on genetic structuralism perspective that is developed by Lucien Goldmann. The premier data resource is the novel and the secondary data resource is the results of the research and books that related to the author and the Japanese condition after world war II. Based on the research have done, founded the humanity facts about the Japanese society way especially their students in respond (receiving, refusing, and questioning) the western influences and undergo the change that make it be new personal or new situation in its environment. Word view that reflected by this novel is not all western influence is bad. The western influences that is positive or negative effect suspended to personal that receives or group in its. Collective subject that world view is the dynamic young community, which not uncontrolled receives or refuses the effect of western civilization and not likewise neglectful cultural tradition as their ancestor inheritance. Their choices are synthesis between tradition and modernity in creation and undergo the change go to progress.
