Abstract
ABSTRACT COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN POLICE OFFICERS SUCCEED CAR FREE DAY PROGRAM TO ACHIEVE A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT IN PEKANBARU By: Aulia Khairunnisa 0910863048 Supervisor: Drs. Wahyu Pramono, M.Si Yesi Puspita Sos, M.Si This study discusses about the organization's communications strategy as represented by Traffic Unit Police Pekanbaru for successed of Car Free Day program to create a healthy environment in Kota Pekanbaru. Police officers are used military organizations system and the organization usually works based on instructions and commands. Success of Car Free Day program became a separate job for the police. The approach used is to wear a kualitatif with a beaureaucracy theory. This is a descriptive study considering was data collected in the form contains explanation of the speakers who used informant. The technique of collecting data using interviews , observation ,and documentatio. The results of this study indicate that communication strategi police organization for success of Car Free Day program is based on characteristics of organizaton is used beauraucracy and so there is seven things to make the effective communication : conduct direct action as taking part in the implementation of Car Free Day, regulate the flow of information so as not to provide load information to members, utilizing feedback useful to determine whether the message in the implementation of the Car Free Day is already understood by subordinates , encourages mutual trust so that the existence of mutual trust between superiors and subordinates so that the activities of the Car Free Day goes as expected, and simplify the language in order to avoid mistakes in the understanding of the implementation of the instruction acceptance Car Free Day, Repetition is used tomembers of organization to understand their duties throughly and using the incidentally to execute a strategy that will be implemented.
