Abstract
The formula X' + y' _ f' of the Py.thagoras theorem state that the quadratic sum of two side, x and ,v, of the right triangle XYR be equal to the square of the third side, r. This research shows that the Pyhagoras theorem can be extended to summing the area of the region bounded by continous functions on certain intervals x, y and r. This result is obtained by using the equivalent relation on the region.
