Abstract
Modified regula falsi is one of numerical methods for root finding. This method follow a scheme that may be thought of as providing series of succesive approximations, each more precise than previous one, so that enough repetitions of the procedure eventually give an approximation which differs from the true by less than some arbitrary error tolerance. Modified regula falsi method is more efficient than regula falsi method.
