Abstract

The danger of narcotic misuse, psychotropic, and other addictive substance, which are also called drugs, can ruin the life of the user, and can destroy the life of the nation also. Following Keppres No. 17 year 2002, Bukittnggi forms Drugs Association based on SK. Walikota No. 188.45-248-2003 about the prevention of drugs misuse policy. The Drugs Association (BNK) is doing the prevention and the battle against the drugs misuse through illumination which is done 75 times. Through brochure, pamplet, interactive dialogue. BNK also coordinates, reports the assignment to the Mayor. The factors which affect the duty of BNK are : Cost, Lack of Operational Cost, Coordination Factor : Lack of Self realization of the personnel which are related to BNK so BNK is not really known by the society. Informational Factor : facilities. This research will reveal the fact that BNK Bukittinggi hasn’t done the job as the way it supposed to be
