Abstract

This Research is aimed to analysis influences of demografi, economic, and social of household to children school enrollment ratio based of gender in West Sumatra, 2006. The researched that used Susenas raw data applied descriptive and logistic regression methode. The result of research showed that school enrollment ratio of girl better than boy. School Enrollment ratio of boy age 5-6 year influenced by mother education, but girl by sex of headhousehold. For boy age 7-15 and 16-18 year influenced by sex and headhousehold education, mother education, industrial origin of headhousehold, and poverty level. Meanwhile girl age 7-15, 16-18, 19-24 years by education of headhousehold and mother, and poverty level. For boy age 19-24 year, sex and headhousehold education, mother education, poverty level and sibling different sex. Key word : Gender, enrollment
