Abstract

Research on the Analysis of Group Dynamics At Farmers Group Saiyo In Kampung Jambak, Koto Lalang village, sub-district of Lubuk Kilangan Padang, was implemented starting from the preparation of research proposals to the end of the study. Time research in the field counted for two months from October to November 2010. This study aims to describe the profile of Farmers Group Saiyo and to find out the dynamics of farmers group Saiyo. The method of the research is a case study, which the primary data source was interviews with key informants and distributing questionnaires to formers and members of the farmers group Saiyo while the secondary data obtained from farmers' group Saiyo and sub-district office of Lubuk Kilangan Padang. For the purpose of the first and the second was using a qualitative descriptive method by which to describe the profile and dynamic farmers group Saiyo. The results obtained in field studies that profile of farmer groups Saiyo already is good because it has the organizational structure and already has a vision and mission, and already have a good group AD / ART. While dynamic of farmer groups Saiyo are categorized to inferior because of the average achievement score is 1.44. Some elements are better categorized as group coaching, group goals, group atmosphere and hidden agendas. While the elements that get low scores is the organizational structure, job function, group cohesiveness, group pressure and group effectiveness.
