Abstract

Land and customary law people in Indonesia especially Minangkabau peoples have relate between some and other. Relation is on people and law, and it will make some rights of land are part of peoples dynamics, so the dispute cases are universal social indication and have found in peoples live. The problem which are studied in this thesis is How the way which have found to get the resolution dispute boundary “Ulayat Nagari” between people in Nagari Muaro Pingai and people Nagari Saningbakar Kabupaten Solok, are the resolution dispute boundary “Ulayat Nagari” between both of the country which are done have been satisfied every people. The research which is done to accumulate the important data, where sociolegal research with planing the research by study case. Meanly, some event to be analyze unit in this research is dispute case boundary “Ulayat Nagari” between people of Nagari Muaro Pingai and Nagari Saningbakar Kabupaten Solok. Technique accumulate data are done by interview and documents study. The data is analyze qualitatively. From the result can be conclude that in early, dispute boundary “Ulayat Nagari” between people in Nagari Muaro Pingai Kecamatan Junjung Sirih with people of Nagari Saningbakar Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak can be finished with this discussion between prominent figure both of country. Than, finishing disputed boundary this “Ulayat Nagari” are given to Kabupaten Solok Government. In this case Government of Kabupaten Solok to be facilitator and mediator. Until now, more than 18 times discussion but dispute boundary still have not be able to finished. Finishing dispute boundary between Nagari Muaro Pingai Kecamatan Junjung Sirih and Nagari Saningbakar is there is no agreement are have not finished. The process finish dispute that have tried by Government this country during the last have can be been satisfied the people who are problem.
