Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF Cd(II) and Zn(II) TO THE SYSTEM TRANSPORT OF PHENOL THROUGHT BULK LIQUID MEMBRANE RISSA YUSZALLY AKHMAD (07132073) Advised by: Olly Norita Tetra, Msi and Prof. Dr. Admin Alif Fenol transport has been carried out using bulk liquid membrane technique. This research goal is to know fenol transport selectivity between phase with addition of ion Cd(II) and Zn(II) in resource phase. Transport System operated using ion Cd(II) and Zn(II) in 6 ml Fenol at resource phase, 12 ml NaOH 0,1M at receiving phase and 30 ml kloroform as membrane phase, respectively. Operation technique used by stiring at 340rpm and equilibrium time 15 minutes. Fenol concentration in resource and receiving phase calculated using 4-aminoantipirin method by spektrofotometer at λmaks 510 nm. Metal ions concentration determined by Atom Absobstion spectroscopy. From the result, obtained that the percentage of fenol transport to receiving phase decreased with addition of metal ion concentration of Cd(II) and Zn(II) at resource phase. Final percentage was decreased from 95,11% to 79,81% with addition of Cd(II) and from 95,11% to 76,15% with addition of Zn(II0, respectively. Statistic test showed that F count bigger than F table. It assumed that the addition of Cd(II) and Zn(II) metal ions influences fenol transport proses using bulk liquid membrane.
