Abstract
Caves is an unique ecosystem where some plants and animals live in and have adapted with cave ecosystem. Macrozoobenthos was organism that sieved by No. 30 US series sieve. The purpose of this study are (a) to know composition and structure of macrozoobenthos community at Kalilawa cave, Baba cave and Bungus cave. (b) to know cave habitat conditions and measuring physics and chemistry factors from river’s cave water of each caves. This study uses stratified random sampling and there were three samples were taken. From the research results at three cave were obtained by 7 classis with 38 species, there are Insects 30 species, Gastropods three species and the others class were one species each other. At Kalilawa cave obtained 4 classis with 18 species, they were dominated by Insects 15 species. Baba cave obtained by 6 classis with 32, they were dominated by Insects 27 spesies. While at Bungus caves obtained 6 classis with 10 species, they were dominated by Insects 4 species. The higher Diversity Indices was 1.23 founded at Bungus cave (station V pool). The lowest was 0.01 at Kalilawa cave. The higher Bray-Curtis Similarity Indices was 67.7 % at Kalilawa cave (station II and IV riffle).
