Abstract
Nursing practice is a form of professional services in accordance with the standards of nursing practice. Nurses in some hospitals do not the professional nursing practice and culture in an organization the organization's performance. This study aims to obtain a "relationship with the organizational culture of nursing practice in the installation of Islamic Hospital Inpatient Siti Rahmah Padang". This study used a descriptive correlational design, with the entire study population subjected to a total 75 nurses. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire containing the instruments of organizational culture and nursing practice that is filled directly by the respondent. When data collection is done on 18-23 June 2012. The study is the nurse perceives strong organizational culture (50.7%) which includes a strong work processes (54.7%), weak leadership (54.7%), weak human resources (65.3%), and organizational structure weak (64%). While the practice of nursing is not good (81.3%). Relationship with the organizational culture of nursing practice there is no connection with the organizational culture of nursing practice that includes the variables of leadership, human resources and organizational structure (p value> 0.05), but there is a relationship between the process of working with nursing practice (p value <0, 05). Advice from the results of this study are expected to arrange hospital organizational structure, an evaluation of nursing practice, perform nursing care in accordance with the standards of nursing practice, whereas for other researchers to do research on other variables related to organization culture and nursing practice.
