Abstract

ABSTRACT THE USING ANALYSIS OF DAITAI ADVERB IN NORUWEI NO MORI NOVEL WORK OF HARUKI MURAKAMI By: Sonya Shintia Dewi Tischa Key Words : Daitai adverb, utilization and meaning. The thesis is about daitai adverb in Japanese sentence that is viewed from syntax field. Adverb in Japanese is called fukushi which is an independent world class so that fukushi does not recognize conjugation. Fukushi is an adverb that has function explain word class such as verb, nominal, adjective, numeralia and other adverb. One of adverb in Japanese sentence that can be often found is daitai. This research is descriptive research type that has a qualitative disposition. The data collecting step used scrutinize method with tapping technique. Then, the researcher continued to do free scrutinize of statement involvement technique and note technique. The data analyzing step is used a distributive method with direct element shared technique and modified element technique. Next, the result of data presenting step is used informal and formal method. The data was gained from Noruwei No Mori that worked by Haruki Murakami. The researcher used Yoshifumi Hida theory. Based on the data analyzing, the researcher concluded that the position of daitai adverb can be close or separated with explained word. Daitai adverb is used to explain verb, nominal, adjective, numeralia and other adverb. Daitai adverb can be meant almost, less, most, usually and instead. The meaning of daitai adverb is showing the level of act or situation, explaining a human quantities or things that is related with activities and stating the quality of things from condition.
