Abstract
In vitro study on scopoletin isolated from fruit of Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L.) to the amount of Imunoglobulin Epsilon (IgE) on white male mice with type I of hypersensitivity has been done. Result showed that scopoletin on the dose of 1,3 and 10 mg/kgBW was able to decrease the amount of IgE (P<0,01). Decrease in serum IgE levels of mice with type I hypersensitivity scopoletin by administering a dose of 10 mg/kg bw able to lower IgE levels to the normal range (p<0.01) Keywords : Morinda citrifolia L., scopoletin, type I of hypersensitivity, Imunoglobulin Epsilon (IgE).
