Abstract

The content of chlorophyll a chlorophyll and b and ratio of chlorophyll a/b of potato leaves were generally higher than those of potato plants tied to bamboo sticks compared to those not tied to bamboo sticks. The earlier the planting date of maize to potato, the lower was the chlorophyll a/b ratio. Delaying the planting date of maize from potato up to a certain time changed the number of tubers of various classes, i. c. increased number of small tubers (<30 g) then number of medium tubers (30-60 g) and large tubers ( >60 g).
