Abstract

Reproduction health include all of aspects about strutures and functions reproduction organ and factors that influence the reproduction function. Early education about understanding this problem shouldd be given to the adolescent in preventing sexual deviation. The aim of this research is to improve knowledge students of SMU 5 Padang about reproduction health and compare PBL strategy with konvensional learning . The result of the research have founded improvement student knowledge about reproduction health in both learning strategy, with score 37.25 ± 9.44 become 76.7 ± 15.75 to PBL strategy and 35.25 ± 6.71 become 59.35 ± 17.91 to konventional strategy. Improvment of this knowledge has different for both strategies, in this case, PBL better than konvensional (p< 0.05). Based of this research, we have concluded that the learning process will improve student knowledge about reproduction health and implementation of PBL strategy better than konvensional method.
