Abstract
This article tries to explain how Minangkabau society get involve in national political system. Ethnic society in lndonesia is separate in two type of culture, which is M and J. M for Melayu and J tor Java. From the exptanation about M and J the writer elabonte how this the position of Minangkabau society in lndonesia Politics after reformation era in 1998 begin.
