Abstract

This assay explain about the new concept and approach in Community development namely positive deviance. This approach based on the premise that solutions to community problems already exist within the community. It is focuses on existing resources that are available to everyone in the community. Instead of focusing on needs requiring external aid. This ensures that the sustainability of program continues because it depends on resources already found within the community.
