The experiment about PEG addition as draught stimulator to callus regeneration garlic (Allium sativum.L)was conducted during the periode of August to December 1998, at Laboratory Tissue Agriculture of Faculty of Andalas University. The objective of the exsperiment was to obtain PEG concentration toler-ance by garlic cultivar of distance callus regeneration as in viffo, so to obtain cultivar to be remind draught at lowland. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) at level 5%, with 4 treatment and l0 replication. The treatment PEG concentration is : 5% (A), 10% (B), 15%(C), and 20% (D). Result of this exsperiment, PEG concentration until 15% can tolance by garlic cultivar, and concentration increased to inclination show low amount of root, shoot, planlet, leaves, and planlet tall.
