Abstract

The study aims at impact of technology in production process of "melinjo" to develop agroindustry,improve the role of woman in household economic, and solve their problems in relation to agroindustry development. Descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis have been used to calculate the differences which created by technology in production, agroindustry's income,household's income and contribution of woman to household's income. The result shows that production of "emping melinjo" could be increased about 33% or 15 kgs per rnounth. Income from agroindustry increased 35%. Contribution of women in household's economic have been increased 4% dan 8%.About 43% at decision making made by woman alone, and 57% by compromise. The problem faced by agroindustry is technology can only produce one type of product, limited quantity of melinjo leads to lack of "emping melinjo " production, and the group can not work as it is expected.
