Abstract

The research of the selection some isolate Trichoderma and the composting leaves of sword grass (lmperata cylindrica L. Beauv ) had been carried out at the Laboratory of Mathematic and Natural Science Andalas University and the Laboratory of Food Microbiology of Agriculture Research Institute of Food Crops Sukarami Solok' First stage was selection of 37 isolate Trichoderma and the best five of isolates would be used as inoculum. Second stage was composting leaves of sword grass by using completely randomized design with six treatnrents. The result of first stage showed that isolate Trichoderma were T.4,1., K 59,2.; J.8,1., T 24,2-, and T 27,2.; second stage showed that Trichoderma T 4.1., was the best in composting leaves sword grass, and it found comperative of CA.J 19,66 in the fifth week.
