Abstract

Effect of tartrazine on visible absorption of phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride by using ninhydrin reagent has been studied. Experiment was performed by means of completely randomized design with seven level of tartrazine concentration as treatment factors and five replications. Data were treated by using one way analysis of variance. Result of this experiment showed that tartrazine in commonly level used in pharmaceutical dosage form influenced insignificantly (P phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride by using ninhydrin reagent.
