Abstract
The aim of this observation is to see whether sequential planting system gives better result compared to simultaneous planting system, which is commonly used in vanilla farm. Also, observed the size of plant area for each sequence that gives best result. The result of each planting system is obtained by doing simulation for 90 years planting period and for 50 hectare and 100 hectare planting area. For each area size, simulation done for simultaneous and sequential planting system which area size are 50, 25,10,5 and 2 hectare. Simulation result shows that for certain area size, sequential planting system is better than simultaneous planting system. This conclution is based on the stability of product amount for each year- Best result is obtained by arranging the area size, so that the time needed to plant whole area is the same as the age of vanilla untill needed to replanted, which is l0 years.
