Abstract

Quercetin, a chemical cousin of the glycoside rutin from Mqnihot esculenta Crantz, appears to have several biologically activities. Preformulation studies usually associated with a new potent drug substances, includes solubility. The complexation of quercetin by β-cyclodextrin indicated an AL -type diagram with inclusion complex of 1:1 molar ratio and the stability constant (K) of 403,58 M1. the complexation enhance solubility 9-fold compared with that of quercetin, howers it was not efective for liquid and oral phamaceutical applications.
