Abstract

This essay condenses the evaluation report of IDT (the presidential instruction for underdeveloped village) project implemented in the Wast Sumatera. In conducting the evaluation the researchers focus their attention on four aspects: (1) the process. implementation and goal attainment of the 1DT. (2) its actual problems and solution (3) virtuosity owned by the receirver groups (pokmas) and its influences to the attainment. and (4) the social and economic impacts of the IDT toward the group members. The researchers found that the dominant problems dealt with the pokmas are related to the technical supervision. business choice and village head's support. It also found that many supervisor were appointed without considering their incapability to technical assistancy needs.
