Abstract

An in-vitro study of the effect of the methanolic extract of marine sponge Acathodendrilla sp. on mast cell degranulation induced by different concentration of white hen egg antigen, have been studied. Results showed that the methanolic extract of marine sponge Acathodendrilla sp. at the concentration of 400 µg/ml decreased the degranulation of the actively induced with 50 % white hen egg antigen mase cell.
