Abstract

A combination of interspecific cross between oilrape (Brassica napus L.) as maternal parent with "petsai" (B. campestris ssp. pekinensis Rupr.) cultivar Talaud was carried out by a hand-pollination method- Results showed that the cross combination can produces seeds try mean are 22,09±3,91 per pod. These seeds was able to germinate up to 92,86% rnd its seedlings grew up 90,11%, and all piants of the F1 hybrid are flowered. By cross-pollination of the hybrid was resulted 11,43% of seeded pod per total poll inations, while by self-polli nation was resultel 10,96% of seeded pod per total pollinations. The average seed number by followed cross-pollination was 13,40±7,78 per pod, while by followed self-pollination was 5,63±5,97 per pod. Based on the parameters would be summarized that the Fr hybrid plants resulted from a combination of interspecific cross between oilrape (maternal parent) with petsai cultivar Talaud are viable and fertil.
