Abstract

The seeds derived from a combination of interspecific cross between oilrape (B. napus L.) as maternal parent with "petsai" (B. campestris ssp pekinensis Rupr.) was observated their viabilities, fertilities and morphological character segregation. Results showed that F2 progenies were able to produce flowers with 50.83% of viable pollens, and 46,47% of seeds of total pollinations had been obtained on self-pollination. Based on the results could be state that the F2 progenies are viable and fertil. Several morphological characters of F2 progenies resembled to the maternal or paternal parents and some characters were intermediate between both parents. In the F2 progenies occured segregation of the morphological characters, trut the segregation not based on Mendelian ratio.
