Abstract
The continuity of a language is not determined by the condition of the language itself. It is mainly influenced by its speaker attitude. It can be predicted, that Minangkabau language will be rusty. This condition is influenced bay two factors, external and internal factors. External factors is, it is depandeng on speakers behavior to language. Internally, Minangkabau language is very close to Bahasa Indonesia so it is easy to be interfered.
