Abstract

The paradigma of economic development who have base the animal husbandry of Indonesia goverment from the past just have boundary for develop of sub sistem to breed animal. For face our future, it must be reformed the development style from old style to new paradigma. New paradigma is agribusiness paradigma. The research for to know (1) the real condition of supply product (upstream agribusiness), breeding (on farm agribusiness), process and market the product (down stream agribusiness), (2) to know participation from struture three sub sistem of animal husbandry agribusiness, (3) make strategi for develop bisnis about animal husbandry in formate the paradigma agribusiness in Sawahlunto Sijunjung region. Metode sampling is purpose sampling, the are 22 sample, consist of 5 people from produce cattle, 4 people from feed bisnis, 5 people from beef cattle livestock, 5 people from processing bisnis, and 3 people from marketing of animal husbandry product. To analysis the research, I have used two methode, for fisrt and second research I have used deskriptif qualitatif and to make the develop strategic have used SWOT Analysis. Result of research to indicate that degree of education from sampler (respondent) is 68,1% at SMA level and Uniuversity graduate, experience from sampler in bisnis is 68,8% up six year, sampler that get trainee 45,5%. Supply of product 80% come from another district (out of district), supply of feed and medicine 100% come from another district. Almost the farmers have use standar technologi for their bisnis. There for at down stream agribisnis still for process of cuttingindustry, and for this time have not diversification product yet. Coclusion from this research is there many potensial for investor who have bisnis in beef cattle industry.
