Abstract

The experimental design used in this experiment was factorial design arranged in Completely Randomized Design. The first factor was kinetin with 5 level of concentration i.e. 0 ; I .0 ; 2.0 ; 3.0 and 4.0 ppm and level of auxin consist of IAA and NAA i.e. 0 ; 0.01 ; 0.1 ppm of each. The experiment was design to observe the use of kinetin and group of auxin to induce the growth of sengon In Vitro. The experiment were conducted at laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology, lnter University Center IPB Bogor, between February to May 1997. The result showed that application at 2.0 ppm Kinetin and 0.1 ppm IAA could induced shoot emerge and increase shoot number. Key Words : Paraserianihes falcatar,la, kinetin, auxin, culture in vitro.
