Abstract
An experiment was conducted to study the utilization of fermented cassava ( cassapro ) in diet of last growing period native chickens. Fourty native chickens (24 weeks o1d ) were used. The Randomized Block Design was arranged with four treatments (0, 7,5 , 15 and 22,5 %) fermented cassava in diet and five block liveweight as replications. Variables observed were "pra-layer" performances (age at first egg, first egg weight and weight at first egg), feed consumption and weight g�ain. The results showed that feeding with fermented cassava up to 22,5 % did not showed any deleterious effect on "pra-laying" performances (age at first egg, first egg weight and weight at first egg) , feed, consumption and weight gain.
