Abstract

The study was conducted to investigated production and reproduction potency of smallholder dairy farmer in west Sumatera. A purposive sampling technique was applied to select respondents. The results indicated that dairy cattle in West Sumatera showed low production of milk, long time of lactation period and Calving Interval anf Dry Period.
