Abstract

The purpose of the research is to answer the question, how pharmaceutical firm have the return on equity is good, and what factors influence the return on equity of pharmaceutical firms. This research is a case study on the pharmaceutical firms in Indonesian. The analysis which is used for those purpose are (1)the return on equity formula, (2)the multiple regression analysis. The result of this research shows the pharmaceutical firms in Indonesian have the return on equity is not good. Than the result of the multiple regression analysis shows that the return on equity of pharmaceutical firms in Indonesian was influenced by nel sale, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, other income/other expenses, taxes, total assets, current liabilities, long term liabilities, minority interest in subsidiariea, shareholders equity, net profit margin, total assets turnover, total pasiva, return on invesment and equity multiplier.
