Abstract

President Megawati has said that tourism industry role to nationality economics in Indonesia is very big. Because of its significant influence to the economics, president invited all party to develop the tourism industry. One study to develop ITWM framework had been done. The study solved the problem cost of e-government implementation using Internet-GIS in tourism service. This reports the results of an effort to develop ITWM framework. To develop ITWM framework, The Waterfall methodology was used in this study. The study used Ms IIS Web Server, Ms ASP, Ms Frontpage, JavaScript and Ms Accesss. The ITWM framework can handle SVG web mapping and generate interactive web page dynamically. The ITWM framework was tested using spatial and attribute data of Padang City, West Sumatera. The results showed that the ITWM framework fulfills the requirements of tourism industry. Keywords : Framework, Internet-GIS, ITWM, SVG and tourism.
