Abstract

It had been studied about compound immobilization of copper(II) complex on poly(4-vinilpiridin) and its stability test. Characterization used Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) was carried out to observe the effect of anion different toward immobil ization stability. Measurement result of FTIR showed that cu(II) which has sulfat and cloride anion will get donor - acceptor interaction between the pyridine nitrogen atoms with copper(II) obtain from pyridine shifting from 1600 cm-1 until 1616 cM'1. Leaching level from immobilate of copper(II) acetonitril on p4vp were 9,74 %, 0,23%, and 2,01 %, andrespectively in general the immobilate obtained was stable with the leaching level under 10 %.
