Abstract

Sea has an importances meaning for human lives and needs to be regulated. In Genev4 1958, United Nation held a conference called by united nation convention on the law of the sea (LINCLOS I) and continuo in 1960 (UNCLOS II). But, the 2e conference can not result anything ln 1982, united nation held UNCLOS III in Montego Buy, Jamaica. LINCLOS III is also regulated about exclusive economic zone. Article 56 of UNCLOS III regulated that the coastal state has sovereign rights in this zone as far as 200 miles. In this zone is also happening violations ospecially on fishing or called by illegal fishing. It has been happening to exclusive economic zone of Indonesia to, although, Indonesia has had regulation on fishing with act 31 about perikanan, 2004. So those, the writer take this title "Proses Penegakan Hukum Terhadap Pelaku lllegat Fishing diwilayah Perairan Sumatra Barat".
