Abstract
Digital image processing has had large application in many different field, such as trade, military, medical and also geology a specially fracture characteristic by digital image processing. In this research, material used is pavement. Before image processing used, analysis fracture characteristic on pavement, using by manual method. This method don't give results directly" so that in this research , analysis fracture characteristic do by image processing program. Image processing program give good results compared by manual method. There is three methods which used of digital image processing program, that is image brightness adjustment, binerisation and fractal dimension method.
