Abstract

This paper intends to provide an analysis of regional development aims and reaches. Based of regional autonomy policy, regional government was allowed to make self-planning and developping. Therefore the aims and reaches of development at each region are different. This article shows that the regional autonomy policy has given more advantageous to accelerated regional development, especially in regions that have a lot of nature resources. In other side, some regions are still underdevelopped. Generally they are conflict area region, poor of nature resources, or having geographic complicated landscape. Key word : regional development, economic development, human development.
